After a 3rd and 4th quarter hiatus from food shows, Sysco Houston kicked off 2024 with a January food show held at the opsite featuring over 100 vendors and nearly 600 customers.
The team at US&S featured many specialty and Italian vendors which were well received by the customers.
Highlights included a specialty cheese display and tasting from Emmi Roth, new lineup of gourmet desserts from Bindi, and menu ideas and new item display featuring Amoroso Baking Co. Long time partner principals also displayed as well, including Carmelina with Corporate Chef Giacomo Pagano making the trip to support the new year show, and Polly-O mozzarella featured on all pizzas.
New partner/principal Ezzo Sausage Co. was represented by John Bono who cranked out pizzas like a machine in challenging conditions and attracted major interest from customers with their line of artisan pepperoni and Italian sausage.
The new year is now officially off to a great start and we are looking forward to the rest of 2024!
